What are Exomes?

Exosomes are small vesicles made and secreted from stem cells. They are responsible for cell to cell communication. The exosome binds with target cells to stimulate their repair mechanisms. Inside the exosome are growth factors, messenger rna and aniti-inflammatory proteins that communicate with the target cells to stimulate growth and repair.

    Young Medical Spa utilizes the Eclipse SkinPen™ microneedling treatment to create insignificant injuries on problem areas of the skin. These injuries heal, rejuvenating the skin and stimulating the production of collagen for a smoother, brighter appearance. After microneedling treatments with Eclipse SkinPen, the skin will appear firmer, and unwanted lines and wrinkles will disappear for a more youthful look, although results may vary. Microneedling treatments can be enhanced by adding Platelet-Rich Plasma, or PRP, to the treated area. The blood is taken directly from the patient and the plasma is injected back into the skin, infusing growth factors safely and effectively for a more refreshed appearance.
