Patients may experience swelling, bruising, itching, and redness at the injection site. These side effects typically subside on their own within a few days after treatment.
Dermal fillers at Young Medical Spa require little to no downtime, so patients can return to their everyday activities right away.
Most of the dermal fillers at Young Medical Spa are formulated with lidocaine to ease any pain that may be experienced, although pain varies depending on the individual.
We recommend avoiding rubbing or massaging the treated area for the first 48 hours after treatment. Those who receive lip enhancements should avoid puckering their lips for up to two days after treatment. We also advise patients to avoid exposing the area to extreme heat or cold until swelling and redness has subsided.
