Choose the frequency of check-ins that are right for your schedule! We offer both weekly and 4-week programs that include weight loss injections, progress monitoring, and weight loss coaching resources to help you make the most of your results! At Young Medical Spa we’ve administered over ten thousand treatments, helping patients loose up to 100lbs at a safe and steady pace.
How Does It Work?
Our medical weight loss program features Semaglutide, a groundbreaking FDA-approved treatment originally developed for Type 2 diabetes. Clinical trials show that nearly 90% of patients lost 5% or more of their body weight.
Semaglutide works by:
- Suppressing hunger to help you feel full.
- Delaying gastric emptying to curb overeating.
- Regulating insulin and glucagon to improve metabolism.
- This means you can lose weight without feeling deprived. We now also offer Tirzepatide for even more personalized results.
Expectations
While the exact number of pounds lost varies by individual, our patients lose an average of 2lbs/week. At check-ins our experienced medical providers will make sure your weight loss progresses at a safe and sustainable pace. We help you plan for long term weight management so that you can enjoy your results for years to come.
Weekly Check-ins
When you choose our weekly program you will come in once a week to check-in with our experienced staff where a medical provider will ask questions, monitor your weight, calculate your progress, adjust your dose as needed, and administer your next weight loss injection.
4-Week Program
When you choose our 4-week program our provider will administer the first dose in our office and provide you with three take-home doses for you to use over the next three weeks. On the 4th week you will return to our office for a check-in to calculate your progress, adjust your dose as needed, and take home your next three treatment doses.
Weight Loss Coaching Resources
You have the power! Only you can control what you eat, how much water you drink, or how many steps you take between treatments. Wouldn’t it be great to track all of that so you can see in real time how it is influencing your progress? We think so! That’s why we strongly encourage you to download the weight loss app, MyFitness Pal. We recommend this app as a guide to daily nutrition, calorie tracking and goal tracking. We can’t stress enough how much this will help you with weight management between office visits.

About Young Medical Spa
FAQs
Semaglutide is an FDA-approved medication initially developed for Type 2 diabetes. It helps with weight loss by suppressing hunger, slowing digestion, and improving insulin and glucagon regulation. This makes it easier to eat less, feel full, and lose weight sustainably.
Results vary by individual, but most patients lose an average of 1-2 lbs per week. Clinical trials show that nearly 90% of patients lose 5% or more of their body weight.
Many people notice progress within the first month, but the rate of weight loss depends on factors like adherence to the program, lifestyle changes, and individual metabolism.
While Semaglutide helps suppress appetite and control hunger, combining it with a healthy diet and regular exercise will maximize your results. We recommend tools like MyFitnessPal to track progress.
Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation, particularly when starting treatment. These symptoms are typically mild and improve as your body adjusts.
While generally safe, it’s not recommended for:
- Individuals under 18.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women.
- Those with a history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome, pancreatitis, or end-stage renal disease.
It depends. If you’re currently being treated for diabetes or take certain medications, during your consultation we will determine if it’s safe to add Semaglutide to your regimen.
Yes, when paired with healthy lifestyle habits. The program includes guidance on long-term weight management to help maintain your results.
