I had a consultation for Laser leg vein treatment. I made an appointment to have the treatment. At no time was I informed about the following: 1. Discontinuing Retin-A skin products. I use an Alpha-Hydroxy skin lotion every day on my legs. 2. I was not told to bring shorts. 3. I was not told that I could take Tylenol 2 hours before for comfort. 4. I informed the person making the appointment that I was going to be in the sun within three weeks of the procedure. I was told that it would be no problem. I did not get a sense that this was the case when I informed the tech at the time of the procedure. 5. I was not told that compression stockings might help with the recovery process until I was in the procedure room. I would have purchased them had I been given the information. Perhaps it would be beneficial to give the Leg Vein Pre and Post Instructions sheet to clients at the time of the consultation so that there are no grey areas. The staff was lovely. I just feel that I was very under informed. My outcome is yet to be seen.
