My experience resulted in “average” because my procedure was “below average” but the staff at Young Medical were “above average.” So I pick the middle selection. I was seeking liposuction for my pot-belly, but the consultant explained that I was a better candidate for Coolsculpting. She explained that because I’m not considered “overweight,” I just have this tiny reserve of fat below my belly button that could be diminished with Coolsculpting. She even suggested that if Dr. Young saw me, he also would not recommend me for lipo. In other words, I have this area of fat that bothers me, but it’s not enough to do liposuction. (I should be grateful, right?) So I had the Coolsculpting done, and they stressed the results were “most” noticeable after the 1st month, but it could take up to 3 months. I even Googled it, and most sites said the same thing, that it could take up to 90 days to see results, however, a select FEW saw results after 120 days. On my 90th day, after she compared my photos, she tried to point out the areas where she saw improvement. I agreed with her, however, it was not enough of an improvement to diminish my belly. It’s still there, and it essentially looks the same as before. I was skeptical going in, but I know it did not work for me. I wish I could say that I would rather have used that money towards lipo, but apparently I am not a candidate for lipo. Coolsculpting is definitely a GAMBLE. However, as far as the staff, the Coolsculpting technician and the receptionists are TOP NOTCH wonderful! They were friendly and encouraging, and nothing short of professional. I would recommend Young Medical Spa for anything, but I would first warn (and show my belly) that Coolsculpting MAY or MAY NOT work. It’s just a gamble.
